A$AP Rocky

For those of you interested in R n B and Hip-hop music, you need to listen to these tracks if you haven’t done so already! All of these songs are my main tunes for when I go running even though some of the music here, like Loft Music and Be My Girl are slower jams, they still give me motivation when I’m exercising.

I have recently got ASAP Rocky’s new Album ‘Long Live ASAP’ and it is one of my favourite albums and I love all of the songs on there, which is a rare for me to enjoy a whole album. I do have a few favourites however, like Ghetto Symphony, Wild for the Night and F***ing Problems, along with Fashion Killa. ASAP’s album is an eclectic range of hip-hop, RnB and Dubstep meshed together, which works really well with no two songs sounding the same.

Also coming soon is Cassie’s mixtape ‘Rock-A-Bye Baby’, it’s set to be released on April 11th but she has kept quiet about who it’s going to feature, but I’m sure the Bad Boy singer will no doubt have her boyfriend, Diddy, featuring on the album.

My Favourite Artists of the Moment

I am always listening to the radio and picking up new tunes that I can’t stop listening to! I know I am late but I didn’t realise how incredible and moving Ed Sheeran‘s album ‘Gold Rush‘ actually is. He combines Urban Street with soft Indie and R ‘n’ B undertones that make an amazing sound, and his songs are telling stories that are hard to miss, unlike a lot of other music, you understand the message he is sending in his songs.

I recently started listening to American musician Macklemore who is just coming up in the music scene, I can’t stop listening to his song ‘Thrift Shop’ and it’s a great tune to go running to, or just dance around your bedroom to.

Other musicians that are making it on to my iPod are artists ASAP Rocky, with his debut album LongLiveASAP, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel and Professor Green, with his single ‘Remedy’, with the video including his girlfriend and fashion icon Millie Mackintosh.

I have recently stumbled across Miguel’s hit single ‘Adorn’ remixed with P Diddy and French Montana featuring. This is an excellent mix and one that you should definitely take the time to listen to if you are a fan of old school Bad Boy music.
